Hello, my name is Cisco Folk and I am the President of EZ Turn Signal Kits & Accessories here in Glendale, AZ.  I get asked every month what is the EZ Turn Signal Kits story?  First of all, my passion is the outdoors, so I purchased a 2006 Polaris Ranger XP to help me get around.  Secondly, when diesel fuel reached $5.00 per gallon in 2007 I was driving a diesel truck that only got 12 miles per gallon.  Therefore I decided the smart thing to do was start diving my Polaris Ranger in town.  Consequently my Ranger used regular gas, about $1.00 per gallon cheaper than diesel and it was getting 20+ miles per gallon.  As a result this was about double the mileage of my diesel truck.  Above all, I then realized this was going to save me plenty.

After using the old hang your arm out the side to signal oncoming traffic and almost being run over twice.  Consequently, I realized people do not know what hand signals are and I had enough.  After that I wanted to install LED turn signals for my added safety.  Subsequently, I tried to purchase a four LED light turn signal kit from Polaris, but they did not manufacture one.  Furthermore, I was unable to find anyone who had developed an aftermarket LED Turn Signal Kit.

As we all know the UTV’s have small batteries, small charging systems and are generally driven in rough terrain.  Therefore the main reasons why I wanted all LED turn signal lights are:

  • Less current draw, resulting in increased battery & alternator life.  In addition allowing more power for other vehicle requirements.
  • Faster illumination offers significant safety benefits for following drivers to react quicker.  Furthermore, resulting in an average of a three foot reaction time advantage for every 10 miles per hour.
  • LEDs have no filament, therefore are not susceptible to shock & vibration, a major cause of failure for lamps with incandescent bulbs.

 

EZ Turn Signal Kits Story

So, I created my own aftermarket LED Turn Signal Kit.  Subsequently, I wanted D.O.T. approved, clean and crisp LED lights, and ones that were very visible, even during the day.  Therefore the LED Lights in my turn signal kits are bright.  Secondly, they are hard wired with encapsulated electronics to eliminate corrosion.  In addition they have both the positive (+) and negative (-) wires to make a great connection.  Furthermore their is no screw through a metal surface to the frame for ground.  Finally, you can hard wire the lights to both positive and negative, so you always have a good connection.

The Turn Signal Switch is heavy duty, has the right and left turn signals along with a pull out flare tab for the 4-way emergency flashers.  Meanwhile, I have seen several turn signal switches out there that come with a hose clamp, not this company.  That is to say, you will always get good looking, high quality aftermarket turn signals from EZ Turn Signal Kits!

I designed and developed a custom turn signal switch (TSS) mounting strap.  This custom Strap is for the 2009-10 Polaris Ranger 500 and the 2009-13 Polaris Ranger 700/800/900 XP, HD & HO models.  In addition, the 2010-14 Polaris Ranger 800 Crew & 6×6 and the 2011-14 Polaris Ranger Diesel models.  This professional looking mount will allow full range of motion and clearance for the tilt steering wheel.  Secondly, you can use this custom Polaris Ranger turn signal switch (TSS) mounting strap for the 2014-18 Gravely Atlas JSV models too.

I designed and developed a custom turn signal switch (TSS) mounting D-bracket.  This custom D-Bracket is for the 2014-19 Polaris Ranger 900/1000 XP, XP Deluxe, Crew, Diesel & Diesel Crew models.  Also, the 2015-17 Polaris Ranger 800 6×6 models and 2015-18 EV/ETX/570 2-Passenger & 4-Passenger Mid-size models.  In addition, the 2015-19 570 & 570 Crew Full-size models, 2016-19 Polaris General models and 2016-19 Polaris RZR models.  Finally, this professional looking black powder coated D-bracket will allow full range of motion for the tilt steering wheel.

I designed and developed a custom turn signal switch (TSS) mounting plate.  This custom Plate is for the 2010-14 Polaris Ranger Mid-size EV & 400 models.  Also, the 2011-13 Polaris Ranger Mid-size 500 & 500 Crew models and 2014 Polaris Ranger Mid-size 570 & 570 Crew models.  Furthermore, the 2013-14 Polaris Ranger Mid-size 800 models.  In addition, this will also work on the 2012-15 Kawasaki Teryx models.  Finally, this professional looking black powder coated plate works great on the 2010-14 Mid-size Ranger’s and 2012-15 Teryx models.

I designed and developed a custom turn signal switch (TSS) mounting D-bracket.  This custom D-Bracket is for the 2017 Textron Stampede and 2017-19 Textron HAVOC models.  Finally, this professional looking black powder coated D-bracket will allow full range of motion for the tilt steering wheel.

I designed and developed a custom turn signal switch (TSS) mounting bracket.  This custom Bracket is for the 2011-19 Can-Am Commander / MAX models and 2013-18 Can-Am Maverick / MAX models.  First of all, this professional looking black powder coated bracket is very EZ to install.  Secondly, it looks and works great on the Can-Am Commander, Maverick and MAX models.  Note: This TSS bracket will not work on the Maverick X3 or Trail models.

I designed and developed a custom turn signal switch (TSS) mounting bracket.  This custome Bracket is for the 2009-13 Honda Big Red MUV models.  Above all, this professional looking black powder coated bracket looks and works great on the Honda Big Red MUV models.

I was the first to develop and market the LED Turn Signal Kits for the UTV (side-by-sides).  Also, the first to develop and market the LED Turn Signal Kits with Emergency Flashers for the ATV (quads).  Most Importantly, our kits can be easily installed on any UTV side-by-side, ATV quad, Golf Cart, Sand Car, Dune Buggy, etc.

I get asked a few times every month, why don’t you use the UTV or ATV rear OEM lights for the rear turn signalsThe answer is very simple.  I developed my Turn Signal Kits (TSK) to be completely independent for THREE main reasonsONE, you do not want any possible feedback from the LED Electronic Flasher into the ECU of your UTV or ATV.  Consequently, electronic feedback can cause problems with your ECU and they are very expensive to replace.  TWO, you do not want to affect (invalidate) your manufactures warranty by tapping into any existing OEM lights or wiringTHREE, you want both rear stop lights when activating the turn signals (like our automobiles), not just one As a result, with all my different street legal kits you will never have these concerns or issues.

Note FYI:  I have heard people say that a column mounted Turn Signal Switch (TSS) is in the way of you entering and exiting the unit, not true!  Secondly, they say you will bump the TSS lever with your legs and even break that lever, again not true!  In other words, I am 6’3″ and 250 pounds, I have never bumped the TSS and I use my units multiple times a day.  Finally, I have sold thousands of the column mounted TSS and never had a customer complain about bumping or breaking one.
